I couldn't resist and bought myself a new musical toy. This is the Empress Zoia. It started out as a very complicated guitar pedal and then another version was released with modular connections. It is basically a modular effects pedal, allowing you to create chains of reverb, delay, granular, looper... you name it, it can create it. You can also use it to create simple synths and sequencers. My first project with it was to try to create three different synth voices that each played a different sequence, in harmony with each other and, of course, going through some nice revery and delay effects. The result is a patch that just plays itself forever, if you leave it to. Here's the result...
